Elephants, deer, rhinos, sambar, gaur, etc. are my vegetarians. Remember, this does not mean that they cannot attack anyone. If they begin to feel a blow to their life, they can certainly attack.

It is not easy to find birds in the dense forests! There they get plenty of places to hide. They keep playing hide and seek with us. I want to tell you an easy way to find them.

When they fly, look after them and wait for them to sit. Some birds can be recognized by their distinctive colors. Watching the Neelkanth fly or the nine colors of the Navrang bird is always a mesmerizing sight.

If you take a walk on the outer limits of the forests, you will be amazed to see the different species of birds. Try to listen carefully to their colors and chirping.

This will help you identify them. Perhaps you will see many such birds there, which you have never seen or known before. According to the information received, about 1300 species of birds are found in India.

Colorful butterflies! Little butterflies! These tiny insects fluttering in the sunlight easily fascinate you. They are available in abundance in the forests. More than 1000 species of butterflies are found in India.

You can see countless moths in the jungles of India. Check out this triangle-shaped moth that we found during a jungle safari in Satpura National Park. Isn’t it unique?

Found in tropical and sub-tropical places from Asia to the South Pacific, this triangle moth (Trigonodes hyppasia) is an insect. Black triangles of white fringe are made on the front of both its wings. Within each triangle there are two more triangles.

When these wings sit together, then they form a big white border triangle, inside which four triangles are made. That is, whether they are flying or sitting, you can easily identify them.

It is also called a quadrangular moth because of its attractive triangular shape on the wings. Its size is about 2 cm and the wingspan is 4 cm.

trees and vines

Liana is a long-stemmed vine without leaves. Its roots spread over the surface of the soil and it needs the base of other trees to grow high. Like other trees of the forest, it also depends on the same soil for sunlight, water, and nutrition.

During the jungle safari, you should closely observe the biodiversity of the trees and plants there. From newly sprouting plants to decades-old trees,

all are part of the ecosystem of the forest. Some of these trees are centuries old. Some parts of the forest are so dense that sunlight cannot reach the earth inside the forest. Many types of vines are wrapped on these tall tall trees.

Many species of snakes are seen in the forest, some of which are venomous. From snakes to vipers to venomous snakes and from pythons to green wine snakes to dhamin snakes, non-venomous snakes are often seen here in safari. There is a feature in these pythons.

Despite being a huge snake, the python is not venomous. It clings to its prey and blocks its breathing, then swallows it. In the attached photo you can see how a python langur is clutching the monkey.

You will see small, big, and huge spiders and their webs everywhere in the forest. You will be amazed to see different types of spiders weaving the bushes and branches of trees in the web.

Nephila pilipes spider is found in abundance in the forests. The female spider is relatively larger. Its overall size can be up to 20 cm with a torso of 30 to 50 mm.

Whereas the torso of the male spider is only 5 to 6 millimeters. The spiders of this species are the largest among the spiders that weave webs. It has irregularly shaped webs on its golden vertical mesh which are asymmetric. It is one of the largest spiders in the world.

Argiope emula or the oval St. Andrew’s Cross spider is a typical spider found in tropical grasslands. When these spiders weave their web, they make zig-zag curves on them. Due to this web playing the role of camouflage, this spider is called the cross spider.

The webs woven by the funnel spider or funnel spider are also attractive. You wonder whether it was from this that the shape of the funnel drain started?

During jungle safaris, especially near lakes and water bodies, you will see a variety of insects, moths, worms and fungi.

According to the season, you will see many types of wildflowers in the forest, such as rare and unique wild orchids etc.
