While you’d think that you should blame the mascara, it could actually be the result of many other factors that you can correct – great! There are makeup tips that can prevent blurring to avoiding the use of makeup formulas which can disrupt your routine There are three main reasons your mascara doesn’t stop getting agitated.
1. Your Eye Cream isn’t enough
Before you pick up your favorite mascara it’s likely to be doomed to fail when you’re using a thick eye cream. Why is that? It’s because the moisturizing and oil of the cream for your eyes mix with the oils and heat from your skin, and they rise upwards toward the mascara. In time, it alters the makeup’s formula and can break down the ingredients, leading to bleeding and smudging. The solution? Use your super-rich formulations only at the evening and opt for a lighter formulation for the daytime. Also, ensure that you give the moisturizer or eye cream enough time to completely absorb prior to apply your make-up.
2. You Didn’t Prime your Lid
If you’d like to keep mascara from smudges on your lids prime your lids is a must. There are two methods you can prime your lids. You can first apply an eyeshadow primer in order to balance and control any oil that may make your mascara smudge.
3. You’ve Forgotten to Bake
Baking, in which you let the powder settle on your skin for a short time before dusting it off it, is among the makeup tricks that once you’ve started it, you’ll never stop. It’s not just a way to enhance your eye’s appearance and brighten your face as it sets your makeup and stops mascara from getting smudges under your eyes. It creates an oil-free barrier between the oil in your face and the mascara.
Apply loose setting powder to bake your makeup like a pro. After your foundation (foundation concealer, foundation or cream formula) is completely mixed, place a wet makeup sponge in your loose powder, and apply a dense uniform layer of powder over the area of the eye with a gentle dabbing motion. After you’ve allowed it to rest for a couple of minutes (whatever you’re able to spare) clean off the powder that remains with an elongated brush.
